Once you get your Argos stuff home, you'll enjoy using it more knowing it's covered by Argos Electrical Product Care, provided by Domestic & General.
We're proud to say - over 99% of our customers' Argos Care claims were accepted in 2023 (excludes Furniture Care).
And once your standard manufacturer's guarantee ends, we'll cover faults or breakdowns (provided the policy remains in force). Now that's peace of mind.
So, what's included?
- Accidental damage protection – from the moment you get your product.
- Unlimited repairs – if we can't fix it, you'll get a replacement (an excess might apply).
- Breakdown cover – after the manufacturer's guarantee ends (provided the policy remains in force).
- Worldwide cover – your products are covered wherever you are.
And what's not included?
- Loss, theft, neglect, cosmetic and deliberate damage.
- The cost of installation and/or disposal of your item.
- The cost of replacing any accessories to your item.
- Some policies do not include breakdown cover as the policy ends before the end of the manufacturer's guarantee.
- Excess – for selected items over £149.99 (and mobile phones over £100) an excess will apply to your item when making a claim (excesses range from £10 to £100).

Argos Monthly Care

Peace of mind, paid monthly. You'll be covered for accidental damage, as well as faults, breakdowns and, for mobiles only, theft with force or break-in.
With Monthly Care, provided by Domestic & General, the UK's leading specialist warranty provider, you can protect your purchases. So you won't have to worry about the unexpected costs that come with repairs. If we can't repair it, we'll replace it, or we'll give you the equivalent value in Argos vouchers, so you can pick out your own.

If your item gets damaged accidentally or breaks down due to a fault after the manufacturer's guarantee has ended, our priority is to get you back up and running as soon as possible.
We're proud to say - over 99% of our customers' Argos Care claims were accepted in 2023 (excludes Furniture Care).
Just pop into store and we'll give you a brand new replacement, or Argos vouchers to the original amount you paid for your item so you can choose for yourself. No fuss.
So, what's included?
- Immediate accidental damage cover.
- Breakdown cover after your manufacturer's guarantee ends (excludes jewellery).
- Instant replacement in-store.
- Worldwide cover.
- The cost of replacing accessories which originally came with your item.
- Theft with force or break-in (jewellery and watches only).
- You can include your policy as part of a gift.
And what's not included?
- Loss, neglect, deliberate and (other than jewellery) cosmetic damage.
- Theft or attempted theft of your item (excludes jewellery and watches).

Argos Furniture Care

Clumsy kids? Messy pets? Sometimes your perfect squidgy sofa, or the family dining table, can get damaged by accidents. Life just happens.
So we've put together specialised Argos Care to protect your favourite Argos or Habitat furniture. Should the unexpected happen, depending on the nature of your claim, we'll send an expert technician to fix it or a cleaning kit for you to remove a stain. What's more, if we can't repair it, we'll give you a brand-new replacement or Argos vouchers.
So, what's included?
- Accidental damage cover – from the moment you get your furniture which includes:

- rips, tears or burns to your fabric or leather upholstery.
- scratches, punctures or scuffs to leather upholstery.
- breakage of frame components.
- Pet cover – two claims per duration of cover for damage caused by pets, but there’s no limit to the number of claims you can make for stains.
- Structural defects cover – once your manufacturer’s guarantee expires (only if the policy remains in force), frames and structural defects will be included too.
And what's not included?
- Deliberate damage.
- Wear and tear.
- Neglect, abuse or misuse.
- Commercial use.

Purchased jewellery or a watch?

GREAT! Since February 2024, we have protected all our jewellery and watch range with Argos Replacement Care.
If it's important to you, it's important to us. If it gets accidentally damaged, we'll replace it straight away.
A piece of jewellery or a watch can mean a lot to us and damaging a precious item can be both stressful and upsetting. But with Argos Replacement Care, provided by Domestic & General, there's less to worry about.
